At one time Perrie owned Oscar Peterson's personal spear (pictured above with decoy by M. Hale).
Previously this spear was purchased from Oscar's brother by Jim Nelson not long after Oscar's death.
The spear was hand forged by Cadillac blacksmith Gus Carlson, a contemporary of Oscar Peterson.
